Tucker Anthony Dennis
Sept. 1, 2004 ~ Oct. 15, 2023
Tucker Anthony Dennis always said he was "gonna be here for a good time not a long time" and he made sure it was a good time.
Tucker was born on September 1st, 2004, and passed away on October 15th, 2023. We will be remembering the life of Tucker on Friday October 20th, 2023. Funeral service will be at 3 P.M. at Greater Waco Baptist Church, located at 912 TX-340 Loop, Waco, TX 76705, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Tucker was known as the "life of the party" always telling people to "giver the beans". Sincerely nice to everyone and had one of the most caring hearts. He was 19 years old and loved his family, friends, and most of all diesel trucks. To anyone that knew him, knew that he was the guy that worked on trucks and, well, they liked him to work on theirs as well. At the young age of 17 he bought his first "hotrod" a 1963 Ford Fairlane. He had a way of lighting up a room by simply walking through the door. He was as mischievous and stubborn as they come. Tucker graduated from Valley Mills High School in May of 2023. He was an awesome diesel mechanic and could fix anything you put in front of him.
At 16 Tucker was taken under the wing of Jody Gunter of Gunter Specialty and coworker Stephen Patterson. Tucker was born in Des Moines, IA and lived there until he moved to Texas in 2011. Valley Mills, TX is where Tucker spent the remainder of his life with the friends and family, he loved the most.
Tucker is proceeded by his grandfather Lynn R. Dennis of Des Moines, IA and Aunt Vickey Adams of Des Moines, IA.
Tucker leaves behind his father Brent Dennis of Valley Mills, Tx, mother Laci Dennis of Valley Mills, Tx, biological mother Mamie Dennis (Van Alstine) of Waco, Tx; 3 siblings – Kelsie Dennis, Maddox Boyken, Mason Boyken; grandparents – Mickey Dennis, Steve McGaugh, Linda McGaugh, Patricia Flowers. Tucker also leaves behind his fellow co-workers, Jody Gunter and wife Reagan Gunter, Charles Gunter, Stephen Patterson and wife Leisa Patterson, Julie Wood and husband Kenneth Wood, David Winget Jr. with Snap-on Tools.
Pallbearers will be: Mason Boyken, Jody Gunter, Stephen Patterson, Luke Pilscott, Colson Klemcke, and Remington Bowen
Tucker loved Jesus, believed in God, and will be remembered by his favorite verse: Proverbs 13:4 He will continue to shine through everyone that loved him.
