Tommy Clyde Light, age 80, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at his residence. Graveside service will be 1 P.M. Friday, July 28th at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Visitation will be 11 AM to 12 noon Friday, prior to the graveside service.

Tommy was born on May 15, 1937, in Valley Mills to Elbert and Lillie Mae (Johnson) Light. He was married to Terri in 1992. After retiring form Proctor and Gamble in Dallas, Texas, he moved back to his home town in 2007. Preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sons-in-law: Robert Paty and Kelly Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Terri Light of Valley Mills; his daughters: Becky Williams, Sharon Paty, a son Randy Light and wife Robin, a stepson, Scott Vasquez and wife, Nicole; a step-daughter, Jean Jones and husband Robert; 6 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren; sisters: Nadine Kroll, Geraldine McMillan; brothers: Melvin Light, Mickey Light and wife Ann, Donald "Bert" Light and wife Jimmi.
