Tommy Leon Hill
March 17, 1949 - September 15, 2024
Tommy Leon Hill was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Tommy passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, surrounded by his family. A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
Tommy was born on March 17, 1949, in Ryan, Oklahoma, Tommy was the son of Leonard Ritcherson Hill and Mary Frances Wigham. He is survived by three sisters and was preceded in death by two brothers.
Tommy's journey through life was marked by devotion, service, and a deep love for his family. On June 8, 1971, Tommy married the love of his life, Mary Ann Harrison. Their union spanned 53 years, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Together, they raised four children: James, April, Greg, and Autumn. Tommy and Mary Ann also took on the role of raising four of their grandchildren after the passing of their daughter, April.
Tommy's legacy extends to his ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, each of whom was a source of immense pride and joy for him. His life was rich with moments of laughter and love, and his impact on his family will be felt for generations.
Tommy served his country with honor in the Navy, stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. Beyond his military service, Tommy had a passion for woodworking. His hands shaped more than just wood; they shaped the memories and experiences shared with his family.
Tommy's love for his family was the foundation of his life. He found joy in the simple moments, whether it was working on a project in his workshop or spending time with those he loved. His presence brought warmth and wisdom, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
