Tammy Annette Wilson
December 17, 1968 - August 4, 2024

Tammy Annette Wilson, age 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 4, 2024.   Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. August 10, 2024, at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church with Pastor Adam Hailey officiating under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center.  Interment will be in Hico Cemetery with no processional.

Visitation will be held 5 - 7 PM Friday at Foss Funeral Home.

Tammy Annette Wilson born December 17, 1968 in Fort Worth, Tx, to Mark Mcleroy Jr. and Janice Whatley Kennedy.   As a child, she shared a love of horses with her father as well as gardening and nature with her mother. She proudly graduated from McLennan Community College RN Program in Waco, TX and went on to have a successful nursing career that spanned over three decades. She graciously provided encouragement to those desiring to enter the field and gave speeches at her alma mater on nursing recruitment and care for burn victims. She dedicated her life to improving nursing care on a national level and was an influential part of having electronic charting implemented for patients in hospitals. Tammy dedicated her life to nursing, her children, her family and friends and her animals. In her free time, she could be found gardening, playing with her grandchildren, riding her horses, two-steppin', and playing card games.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Mark, her step-father Bob, her sister Lisa Lynette, her niece Kristy, and her nephew Dustin.

She is survived by her mother Jan of Laguna Park, her brother Mark of Laguna Park, her son Cody (Lacey) of Franklin, Tx, her daughter Tiffany (Tyler) of Robinson, TX, her son, Sam (Sophia) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and her son Matthew (Micah) of Troy, Texas. Her grandchildren, Bryce, Dawson, Joey, Colt, Greyson, Cole, Griffin, Tilden, and Maverick, along with numerous family and friends who miss her dearly.

Pallbearers:  Cody McClinton, Samuel Owens, Matthew Owens, Jay McClinton, John McClinton, and Andrew Richards.
