Sue Prosser

Sylvia Sue (Todd) Prosser, age 76, of Valley Mills, Texas , went to our heavenly Father, on May 18, 2022. Memorial service will be 2 P.M. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Searsville Country Church near Valley Mills, Texas.

Sue was born October 29, 1945, in San Saba, TX., To parents, D.C. and Laverne Todd. She grew up in Goldthwaite, Texas and attended school there. She married the love of her life, Henry Eldon Prosser, on December 29, 1965. They raised two children together. She worked various jobs in the Valley Mills, Clifton area until she attended LVN school at Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton, Texas. While also raising children and being a housewife, she went to McLennan Community College and finally received her license to be a Registered Nurse in 1985. Sue loved nursing and it became her calling in life. She worked at all the area hospitals at different times ands finally retired from the Waco V.A. after 17 years of service. During her working years Eldon and Sue took on the care and guardianship of two nieces that needed their help after losing their own parents to a tragic accident. They opened their home and their hearts to these girls and got them through school. After retirement, Sue took up many hobbies. She loved to read and read hundreds of books. She was a talented painter and made and decorated many bird houses, Christmas ornaments, and all kinds of different crafts. She also loved to cross stitch and research her family history. Sue had a very green thumb and could grow anything. Her yard was covered with plants and flowers. Eldon and Sue loved to travel across the U.S. They both loved New Mexico the very best. They spent a lot of there.

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Eldon Prosser and many other love ones.

Survivors include: one son Lynn Todd Prosser and wife Sara of Valley Mills; one daughter Elizabeth Desiree Prosser and wife Kim of Temple; two brothers: Conrad Todd and wife Barbara of San Angelo, TX., Charles Todd and wife Jean of Goldthwaite TX; two sisters: Jackie Boykin and partner Wayne Ratliff of Star, TX; Laveta Bloodworth and husband Carl of Sundown, TX. Three grandchildren, Dana Peter and husband Patrick, Jessica Flores and husband Ruben, all of Valley Mills, Clayton Prosser and wife Michelle of Waco, TX. Four great grandchildren: Raydon, Ruben Jr., Carmen and Adelina. Special nieces: Melissa Prosser and son Shawn, Brandy Glass and husband Brian and Greyson all of Valley Mills, TX. Many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren that she loved very much.
