Stacey Holt Custer, 55, of Wortham Bend-China Spring area passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the Valley Mills Cemetery. Visitation will be on 5 to 7 P.M. Friday, November 19, 2021, at Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Valley Mills, Tx.
Stacey Annette Holt Custer was born on May 3, 1966 to Don and Bettye (Speegle) Holt in Waco, Texas. She graduated University High School in 1984. She worked at American Income Life Insurance Company, where she earned employee of the month in August 2020. This was not just a job for Stacey, this is something she loved to do. Stacey was an avid lover of the outdoors. The beach, river, fishing, shooting guns and playing with her dogs were some of her favorite things. Being in the company of her family and friends around the fire pit, while listening to music was something she truly enjoyed. Stacey loved life to the fullest with a smile always on her face.
Stacey proceeded in death by: Grandparents: Louis & Jeanette Speegle, Berniece Sutton. Parents: Don & Bettye Holt. In-laws: Johnny L Custer, Jr & Gladys Mare Custer, sister-in-law, Lisa Custer. Fur babies: Whiskey & Ranger.
Stacey was loved and cherished by many people. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Custer of seven years. Her sons, Steven, Eric & Mark Sanchez. Stepdaughters, Mandy (Larry) Mora, Brandy (Billy) McMillian, & Kendle (Allen) Bitters. Her brother, Bryan (wife Stephanie) Holt. Her sister, Renee (husband Wayne) Stinson. Stacey's brother-in-laws, Terry (wife Kayla) Custer, Bradley Custer, and sister-in-law, Robin Custer. Her uncle, Charles (wife Jean) Speegle. Stacey also has numerous grandchildren, nieces & nephews, cousins and friends. She also leaves behind her special fur babies: Bandit, Karma, Koba & Sabre.
Stacey was a vivacious spirit who everyone loved to be around. It is said that our actions demonstrate what we truly believe. Stacey's actions showed she was a kind and loving person, who had an ear to listen and a heart to love. Her smile and laugh will always be remembered.
