Shirley (Petzold) Kleibrink, age 81, of Valley Mills, Texas passed and was welcomed at heaven's door on Easter Sunday morning, March 27, 2016, in Watauga, Texas. Services to celebrate her life with family and friends will be 1 P.M. Saturday; April 2, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Valley Mills with Dr. John Wheatley officiating. Interment will follow at the Valley Mills Cemetery under direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Visitation with family will be 4 - 6 P.M. Friday at Foss Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Valley Mills First Baptist Church, B.A.R.K. (animal rescue) of Clifton, Texas, or the of your choice.
Shirley was born on October 13, 1934, in Bosque County, to Theodore (Tado) G. and Rita Lillian (McNeill) Petzold. She was married to Bruce Kleibrink on July 8th in 1955. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jim T. Petzold; sister, Melba Walsleben and loving husband of 43 years, Bruce, who has been waiting patiently since 1998.
Shirley loved and was loved by her family and her animals. She attended Vallley Mills schools and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children: Susan McGuire and husband, Edwin of Watauga, Texas; Linda Quick and husband, Bert of Crowley, Texas. She was blessed with six grandchildren; Chase Lakey and spouse, Karen; Cameron Lakey; Rachel Palmer and spouse, John; Jared McGuire; Alexis Borunda; Blaze Borunda and three great-grandsons: Ethan, Blake and Clayton, along with several nieces and nephews
