Shirlene (French) Brentham Hennig

Shirlene (French) Brentham Hennig, age 83, of Clifton, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017, in a Clifton Hospital.  Memorial service will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the Searsville Country Church near Valley Mills.  Interment will be at Eagle Springs Cemetery near McGregor, Texas.

Shirlene was born November 19, 1933, at Sand Bed near Moody, Texas, to Andy and Birdie (Raborn) French.  She attended school at Olgesby and McGregor.  She formerly  worked for Sears while in California, Hydro Fitness in Belton, and also worked as a care taker.  She was married to Donald Hennig on November 17, 2007 at the Searsville Country Church where they were both members.  She played the guitar and loved gospel music.  She and other family members would often play and sing at many churches in the area.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son Steve Brentham and 5 brothers.

Survivors include her husband:  Donald Hennig, a daughter:  Tammi Mrowicki, 3 sisters:  Mary Keltner, Juanita Sargent, Edna May Williams, a sister-in-law:  Bobbie French; a granddaughter:  Trinity Sigafus; 2 grandsons:  Theron and Adam Brentham; 6 great grandsons:  Andrew, Zack, Lyrik, Adam Jr., Aiden, Jax; a great granddaughter:  Jessa; and a great great granddaughter:  Hali.
