Sherry Butler

Long time Valley Mills resident Sherry Butler passed away on Tuesday Dec 8, 2020 at Lutheran Sunset Home in Clifton where she had moved after recently suffering a stroke. Graveside services will be held 1 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Sherry was born in Batesville, Arkansas on July 6, 1946 to Ralph and Betty Carpenter. Throughout her life, Sherry moved to Copperas Cove, Denver and finally to Waco where she met David Butler. They were married in 1996 and moved to Valley Mills and were together until his passing in 2010. Sherry was a rural letter carrier for the USPS in the McGregor area for more than 20 years and a good friend to many in Valley Mills. She will be missed by those who knew her.

Sherry is survived by her three children and their families; Traci Fritz, Roger and Shannon Fritz and their two daughters Lauren and Ella, and Vance and Paula Fritz and their daughter Jessica.
