Ruth Hyde, 88 of Valley Mills pasted away Oct 6, 2024 in St Catherine's Nursing Home.

Funeral Service will be 11 A.M.,  Friday, Oct 11, 2024,  at Patton Baptist Church of Valley Mills .  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Internment 2 P.M.  at Rosemond Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Anyone wishing to sign the register at the funeral home  may do so on Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM

Ruth was born March 19, 1936 .  She was the daughter of  Eva Ruth Chastain.  She was member of Patton Baptist Church for over 55 years.  Ruth married Dewey R Hyde 1956.   Ruth was homemaker and worked various jobs to help support the family.  Ruth loved working beside her husband ranching and raised many a baby calves.  They worked hard and played hard going dancing with many friends enjoying round -ups and trail rides.

She's was proceeded in death by her mother Eva Ruth Chastain and husband Dewey R Hyde.

Survivors include Stephney and husband Johnny Gaidusek , Curtis Hyde , Shelly and Don Elkins.  Grandchildren Justin, Westin, Magain, Ragain, Amanda, Randon, Cheynne, and Shawni.  Great grandchildren Madolyn, Audrey, Meredith, Maximus, Maverick, Major, Kasan, and  Avery.

Pallbearers:  Jeff Hyde, Jamie Hyde, Jay Hyde. Michael Pierce, Justin Gaidusek, Westin Gaidusek, Randon Elkins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Patton Baptist Church, P.O. Box 538, Valley Mills, Texas  76689.
