Roxie Holder Sept. 1, 1944~July 10, 2014 Roxie Nell Holder, age 69, of Valley Mills went to be with her Lord on July 10, 2014. Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 16th at the First United Methodist Church in Valley Mills. Interment will be 1 P.M. at Robinson Cemetery under the under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Tuesday at Foss Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Roxie was born September 1, 1944, in Jewitt, Texas, to Harry and Myrtis (Hardie) Warren. She was number 10 of 13 children. She was a 1962 graduate of Leon High School in Jewitt. She retired in 2002 from Weyerhaeuser/Paragon Foods due to medical reasons. She was a very loving mom raising 5 sons by herself. Roxie had lived in Valley Mills for the past 17 years. She had worked with the Valley Mills Senior Citizens for the past 6 months. She loved to have "Barn Sales" at her house in Rivercrest Estates near Valley Mills. Roxie was a beloved member of Hilltop Christian Fellowship for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers: Herman Warren, Douglas Gene Warren, Johnny Lewis Warren, Thurman Warren, Harry Carl Warren, Raymond Leon Warren, James Alton Warren, Joe Ray Warren, a sister: Helen White. Left to cherish her memory are her 5 sons: Donald Beshears, David Beshears, Joe Beshears, Damon Beshears, William Holder; 3 sisters: Lillian (Polly) A. Hatcher & husband Billy Joe, Ruth Maurine Evans, Eleanor Sue Martin all of Jewett, 4 grandsons; 2 granddaughters and a great grandson.
