Ronnie Gene Allison, age 71 of Crawford, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, in Crawford, Texas.  Memorial service will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, March 29th at Patton Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Cummings officiating under direction of  Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the church.  Memorials may be made to the Patton Baptist Church.

Ronnie was born Sept. 17, 1944, in McGregor, Texas, to Othalee  and Fay (Griffin) Allison.  He was a 1964 graduate of McGregor High School.  He was married to June Homan on March 5, 1965 in McGregor.  Ronnie retired from Central Freight and later retired from McLennan County Prect. 4.   Ronnie was a member of Masonic Lodge #585 in Crawford, Texas.   He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Ronnie was well known for his deer summer sausage.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clinton and Elmer Dean Allison; sisters, Tommie Ruth Allison, Helen Smith, and Patsy Cox, and a daughter Robin Neill.

Survivors include his wife:  June Allison; daughter:  Julie Wood and husband Kenneth; mother-in-law:  Helen Joyce (Peggy) Homan; grandchildren:  Kourtney McClain and husband Anthony, Dillion Neill,  and wife Brittany: Mills, McKenlee, and Macy Wood; great grandsons:  Brailyn and Ian Neill; a special niece Elizabeth Reinhardt and special nephew Jimmie Cox; many more nieces, nephews, cousins; and his sweet chair side companion, Sara (his dog).
