Ronald Eccleston

Ronald L. Eccleston  passed away peacefully Sunday January 19,2020 at Sunset Lutheran Home in Clifton, Texas.  Memorial Services will be at a later date with burial in Navarre, Ohio.

Born March 18, 1936,  to the late Lawrence R. and Margaret (Hilderbrand) Eccleston of Navarre, Ohio.  Ron graduated from Navarre High School.  He lived most of his adult life in Elyria,Ohio where he raised his 4 children. He retired as a Major with the Department of Correctional Institution in Grafton, Ohio .  He then moved with his wife, Lore to Kure Beach, North Carolina where they enjoyed "The Golden Years" of travel and many visits with grandchildren and great children.  They were very active in the community, making many wonderful friends. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Lore of 47 years , a daughter Janelle,and a  brother Thomas.

Survivors include a Daughter Rhonda (Stan) Boozer of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Sons, Timothy (Louise) Eccleston of Broken Arrow, OK, Bryon (Patti) Eccleston of Valley Mills, Tx. Opa to Eight Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. a brother Ernie Eccleston of Charlotte, N.C. and two nieces.

The family would like the Sunset Lutheran Home and Hospice of Clifton, Texas to know how grateful they are of the loving care given to our Dad and Opa.  It was always hard to leave but knowing he was being well cared for gave us peace of mind.  He had such a dry sense of humor which  will be missed by all.
