Ricky Glenn Frost, age 63, of Clifton, Texas, passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, in a Waco hospital. Memorial service will be 10 A.M. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Clifton, Texas, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and cremation center.
Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Monday Foss Funeral Home.
Rick was born in Amarillo, Texas, on August 2, 1953. He was adopted at the age of 16 months by his parents Lavergne Rayburn Frost and Glennis Cockrell. He grew up in Abilene, Texas, and was a 1972 graduate of Abilene High School. He was a member of the Eagle Scouts at age twelve. He loved football and playing in the high school band. His best friend while going to school was Ernest and they still stay in contact with each other. After high school, he attended T.S.T.C. and graduated with an associates degree. That is where he meet his first wife, Kathryn Mary Kocian and were married in 1973. He was the manager of Kinney Shoe Store for several years. In 1978, he had a daughter Tracy Christine Frost. He later built a home in West and in the 1980's drove a truck hauling mobile homes. Rick and Kathy later divorced. He continued working until his health forced him to retire. He later married the love of his life Helen on May 20, 2013. They made their home in Clifton, Texas.
Rick will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was the type of person that would do anything for you. He would give you the shirt off of his back. He loved spending time with his family and friends especially his two granddaughters Kalie and Gracie. Rick was preceded in death by his father Laverne Rayburn Frost and a brother Gary Frost.
Survivors include his wife Helen Frost, a daughter Tracy Borom and husband Ryan; a son Christian Deo Viloria, a daughter Kristine Mae Viloria, a daughter Shamma Joy Besana, mother Glennis Frost; sister Camille Asmus and husband Harry, grandchildren: Kalie and Kelly Tumlinson, Gracie Borom and Elijah Glen Viloria; niece Nikki Frost and many friends.
