Richard (Ricky) Allen Cecil

Richard Allen Cecil, age 54, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his home in Valley Mills, Texas, with his mother at his side. Memorial graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday, December 10, at the Clifton Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Richard was born on August 11, 1967, in Austin, Texas. He was adopted by Billy Bob Cecil and Helen Hinkelman Cecil at the age of 16 months old. Richard known as Ricky attended school in Valley Mills for twelve years. He was preceded in death by his father. He and his family attended the First United Methodist Church in Valley Mills. When his health allow him he would visit others in town. He knew no stranger.

Survivors include his mother Helen Cecil; aunt and uncle Cathy and Gene Finstad whom he loved very much, many cousins and many close church friends.
