Raymond Curtis Knudson Jr., 78, of Moody, Texas, formerly of the Valley Mills - Waco area past away on January 1st.  Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Ray was born on August 2, 1945, in Clifton, Texas, to Ray Knudson Sr. and Faye (Cox) Knudson (Hoppe).  Ray was a graduate of Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi.  He then attended Delmar Junior College with a roping scholarship and achieved his Business Degree. He was married to LaVeta Polvadore in 1972 and to this marriage they had 2 daughters, Sundie Hoffman and Kristie Isham. Ray married Pam Neilson in 2010 and had a great love for each other and enjoyed life together until Pams passing in 2022. Ray worked for A&M Agriculture Extension Services Center artificial insemination with livestock before starting his career as a born salesman. He was a car salesman for Gordon Roundtree and Steakley brothers in Waco then transitioned into mobile home sales where he worked for Brigadier Homes and Tidwell Homes, then owned and operated a mobile home Lott with wife LaVeta in Lorena,Tx. Repo Ranch/K and K Homes for many years.  Ray was an avid calf  roper all of his life,teaching his daughters the love of horses and rodeo as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faye Cox Knudson Hoppe, Raymond Curtis Knudson Sr. and step father Ray Hoppe, Sister Janice Knudson and Grandson Hesston Hoffman.

Survivors include daughters Sundie Hoffman of Hewitt,Tx. Kristie Isham and husband Jeremy Isham,Grandson Chase Isham of Hewitt, TX. Great grandson Jaxton Hoffman of Hewitt, TX. Step daughter Shannon Foster of Whitney, TX. Step granddaughter Stephany Olson, husband Justin Olson and step great grandsons Jase Olson and Kasey Olson of Hewitt, TX. a brother Roger Knudson and wife Velma, nieces Amy and Kase.
