Ray Eskew Dec. 23, 1938--Nov. 11, 2015 Ray Eskew, age 76, of China Spring passed away at his home on November 11, 2015. Graveside service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, November 14th at the China Spring Cemetery. Ray was born in Mart, Texas, to Eugene and Jane (Hadley) Eskew. Ray was formerly a long time resident of Valley Mills. Ray loved to dance to country and western music. He met and fell in love with his wife of 49 years at the Circle R Club in Waco after he asked her to dance. They married two months later. If Heaven has a jukebox, he is dancing today! Ray was the owner of Ray's Auto Sales for many years. His love of cars led him to dirt track racing which became one of his favorite past times. He enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, and all motorsports. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter- Diana Eskew Thiele, brothers- Joe and Sammy Eskew, and sisters- Betty Jean Simpson and Jeanette Pavlovsky. Ray is survived by his wife, Alice, sons- Kevin Eskew and wife Bambi, James Eskew and wife Rebecca- all of China Spring, seven grandchildren - Wesley, Derek and Kris Thiele, Dustin, Lindsey, Colton and Lyla Eskew, and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Fuzzy Friends Animal Rescue to honor Ray's love of animals.
