Quinta Harris
January 9, 1931~June 11, 2017

Quinta Meyer Harris, age 86, of Robinson, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017, in a Waco Nursing Home.   Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Friday, June 16th at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church.  Interment will be in the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Harris was born January 9, 1931, near Coryell City to Quintus and Mildred (Walker) Meyer.  She married James B. Harris in 1946.  She received her nursing degree from Hillcrest.  She worked at Hillcrest Hospital, Providence Hospital as well as the Waco V.A. Hospital and at various nursing homes.  Gardening was her pastime. She was preceded in death by her husband James, in 1975, her brother, Gerald Meyer, a granddaughter Dona Kay Graham, a great grandson Jeffrey Graham.

She is survived by her children:  Brent Harris and his wife Anne, La Quinta Wilborn, Kathy Gillespie, Janet Payne, and Karen and her husband John Conley; 2 sisters:  Betty Jean Dillard and Lydia Patterson; 8 grandchildren; 11 great great grandchild and 1 great grandchild.
