Jean (Jeanie) Schmidt Rambin
May 8, 1940 - June 13, 2024

Priscilla Jean (Jeanie) Schmidt Rambin was taken home by Jesus on 06-13-2024, her journey on this earth completed. Jeanie was born May 8, 1940 to Herbert and Flora Schmidt in Clifton, TX. Her Daddy said she picked the perfect sack of cotton as a young girl.  She graduated from Valley Mills High School 1958. In High School she was on the sideline as a Cheerleader encouraging the mighty Valley Mills Eagles.  She met and married David Reeves and of this union was born Randy, Bruce and Susan.

She was a homemaker with a talent for cooking and baking that all family gatherings looked forward to. There were many. A seamstress beyond compare. She had the sewing magic for clothes and  costumes one could only dream of. She loved all types of plants and enjoyed having them in her home and had a God given Green Thumb.

She married Donald Rambin April 8, 1983. The love of her life. They enjoyed many travels and family time. Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband Donald Rambin, son Randy, grand-daughters Carissa and Kelsey. Her parents Herbert and Flora Schmidt, brother David Schmidt and sister Kathy (Schmidt) Ditto and nephew Scott Sonntag, step-son David Rambin.

She is survived by son Bruce, daughter Susan, grandson's Stephen Lamberton and wife Melissa,  Justin Reeves and Tristan Touchstone, Darin Rambin, great grand-daughter's Emilia and Cora Ann,  sister Peggy Greenhaw and husband Reagan and nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews, who hold treasured memories of her.

Graveside services will be 10 A.M. Saturday, June 22, at the Clifton Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation.
