Peggy Ditto Simpson
March 14, 1937 ~ May 14, 2023

Peggy Ann Ditto Simpson, age 86, of China Spring, Tx., completed her journey here on earth and was called home on May 14, 2023.  A private graveside service was held at China Spring Cemetery.

Peggy was born on March 14, 1937, to Billie and Velma (Wilson) Ditto.  Born at home her grandmother helped deliver her.  Her heart will always belong to Coopers Crossing where she enjoyed living in the country and all nature brought to her.  She obtained a teaching degree and taught elementary at China Spring, Texas, for 17 years.  She was a huge Texas A & M fan and always said she bled maroon.  A past time she enjoyed immensely was genealogy.  Discovering her roots and building a family tree fascinated her.  She loved to travel and those who were her companions or she went to visit were treasurers she always carried in her heart.  She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Waco where she enjoyed attending services and fellowship with others.  She was preceded in death by her son Brandon Simpson, father and mother, brothers Bill, Charles and Wilson Ditto.

She is survived by her children Scott Wayne and Sarah Simpson.  A host of friends Melanie Thompson and Jerry Buro Jr. were close to here in the last few years of her life.
