Paul Raburn

Paul Wayne Raburn, age 83, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away December 21, at St. Catherine's Hospice in Waco, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 11 A. M. Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Wimberley, Texas, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Interment will be in the Valley Mills Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church in Wimberley one hour prior to the service.

Paul was born on February 28, 1935, in Lott, Texas, to William F. and Lillian (Blackman) Raburn. Paul served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army He was a commercial pilot for many years and later owned and operated a construction company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dr. William Raburn and Lloyd Raburn, sister Melba Hamm; and by a daughter, Dona Hardwick.

Survivors include his wife Julie Raburn, sons Dee Sweet and wife Kathy, Don Sweet; daughter Dana Young; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
