She was preceded in death by her sons Paul and James, daughter Patricia McKain and all three of her husbands. Patricia is survived by her children: Judy Arispe, Bill McKain, Betty Regian, Mike McKain, Joe McKain, Patricia Shahim, Russ Warner, and Ginger Jackson. She also leaves behind a legacy through her 19 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.

Patricia was born in Pennsylvania on March 31st, 1935 to George and Flora Barnhart. A loving wife and mother, Patricia dedicated her life to her children and family. She was always a social butterfly and loved to sit and chat over tea, a cup of coffee, or some ice cream. She cherished her friends, her independence, and the time she spent with family. She was a strong woman, and she remained so even through her battle with Alzheimer's. Patricia will be remembered for her sweet charm, her quick wit and humor, her contagious laughter, and the warmth she gave to all who knew and loved her.

From Patricia's son Russ
What can one say about their own mother that everyone hasn't said or tried to say? Here's my way… Mother grew up in nothing but hardship. She was forced to move out at 15 years old to work for a "well-off" blind lady for room and board. This is a small portion of her trials. She was unbelievable as a mother for her courage. This is just a start of her life. With nothing but faith, an attitude, and dreams deferred, she set out to survive with one thing in sight: to take care of her own, which she did with the very best of her ability! What a wonderful soul, my mother!

This is a poem that Mother liked that her son, Paul, gave her…

A Mother's Love

A mother's love is like a rose,
Honey on your chest.
It reveals its beauty at its best.
I am so glad that God above,
Gave me such a mother's love.
