Pansy Belinda Dixon (otherwise known as Nannie Pat or Momma Pat), 78, of Clifton, TX, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024 at the Lutheran Sunset Home surrounded by her loving daughters.
Pat was born on November 25, 1945 in Clifton, TX to parents Jesse Avery and Dolly Grace Cox. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, known for her love of the Lord, her kind smile, and her insatiable sweet tooth. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and loving on her grand babies, no matter the age. One of her iconic quotes was "you're never too old for a kiss" followed by a big smooch and warm embrace.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Jesse Avery and Dolly Grace Cox, as well as her siblings Bradley Cox, Bobby Cox, Faye Hoppe, Annelle Sorley and Jane Reichel and the father of her children, Kenneth Dixon.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Rhoads and Belinda Strawser, her son in law, Jason Strawser, her grandchildren Koby Strawser and wife, Chasity, Whitney Weatherly and husband, Jacob, Kennadi Wise and husband, Brayden, Kamrie Rhoads, Wriley Rhoads and Mabri Rhoads, as well as her great grandchildren Markus, Thomas, Manuel, Lincoln, Emmett, Rowan, and River, as well as many nieces and nephews, and her sister in law Nancy Cox Hoppe.
A visitation and funeral service to celebrate Pat's life will occur on Sunday, July 28, at Searsville Country Church. The visitation will be at 2:00 PM and service to follow at 3:00 PM with a private family graveside to follow.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Lutheran Sunset Home and Hospice Sunset for their compassionate care during the end of Pat's journey.
