Pansy Cleo Cordell (Lindsey), 86, of Valley Mills, TX, went to be with her Lord, Friday, October 21, 2022. Graveside services will be held, Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11 AM at the Cordell Family Cemetery ,  Address:  3090 State Hwy 6, Valley Mills, TX 76689, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Pansy was born December 6, 1935 in San Marcos, TX to parents Annie B.  and George Lindsey.  On August 11th, 1949. She married, Johnnie Douglas Cordell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Douglas Cordell.

She is survived by a brother, Ray Lindsey;  sons, Steve Cordell and wife Stacie, Delbert Cordell and wife Lisa, Martin Cordell and wife Shannon; a daughter, Janis Cordell. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She had a kind, nurturing spirit which was evident by her care for her family and for the elderly.  The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy.  She worked in Nursing Homes throughout her life.  But the job she loved the best was being "Granny".  She loved, cared and provided for all her grandchildren.
