Mosette Johnson Kilpatrick May 9, 1912~May 11, 2015 Mosette (Johnson) Kilpatrick, age 103, of Temple, Texas, formerly of Mosheim, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. Graveside services will be 2 P.M. Friday, May 15th at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at Garden Estates in Temple, Texas. Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Thursday at Foss Funeral Home in Valley Mills, Texas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital. Mosette was born on May 9, 1912, in Mosheim, Texas. She was the daughter of Isaac Benjamin (Ben) and Mary Josephine (Cutbirth) Johnson. Mosette was the oldest known graduate of Mosheim High School having graduated in 1930. She was employed by BancAmerica in San Francisco, California for many years before moving back to Texas in 1968. She was married to Aubrey Kilpatrick on April 18, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1984. She was also preceded in death by a nephew Raymond Johnson of Dallas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Temple, Texas. Survivors include her son: Jim Kilpatrick of Temple; host of nieces and nephews including Doug Byrd (Mary) of McGregor, and Gwena Burns (David) of Tucson, Arizona. The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff of Garden Estate and New Century Hospice for their excellent care.
