Millard Wayne "Boogaloo" Green passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on November 27, 2024.
Visitation will be 4-6 P.M. Monday, Dec. 2nd at the First Baptist Church in Valley Mills, Tx. Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday at the First Baptist Church. Interment will be at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Cente r .

Wayne was born on September 4, 1953 in Granbury, TX and was raised by Lois and Burl Green in Valley Mills, TX where he graduated from Valley Mills High School in 1972.
Wayne was a man of many passions. He spent several years working for Lochridge Priest, before taking over the position of Foreman of the Delmar Ranch from his father Burl, who ran the ranch for roughly 30 years. Wayne was the Foreman of the ranch for 20 years until his retirement in 2015, when he passed the position to his son Matthew to continue in his footsteps. Wayne was a businessman and entrepreneur who then pursued opening K&W's Bar and Grill. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play and other sporting events. Wayne was a very caring person, who was always willing to give a helping hand to others. He participated in many fundraisers and provided donations to others. He was passionate about his family and friends and always enjoyed having a good time. He was a man of few words but was known by everyone as the man who wore the black cowboy hat, with piercing blue eyes, and a smile that made everyone feel like his friend.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father Burl Green, sister Carolyn Green, and his beloved daughter Carrie Green
Wayne is survived by his mother Lois Green, and his children: Chris Green and wife Amy, Matthew Green and wife Emily, Robert Green and wife Amanda, Erik Green and wife Tara, and daughter Randi Green. Wayne leaves behind many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He also is survived by his sisters; Sue Hollingsworth and her husband Billy and Cynthia Phillip and her husband Larry, niece. Kristy Hollingsworth, and nephew Robby Hollingsworth.
