Mary Welch Boegli

January 29, 1932~July 26, 2017

Mary (Kirkpatrick) Welch Boegli, age 85, of Valley Mills passed  away at a Waco retirement center.  Graveside will be 10 A.M. Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Foss Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.

Mary was born on January 29, 1932, in Lorena, Tx to Dee and Bertha (German) Kirkpatrick.  Mary grew up in Gholson and lived most of her life in Valley Mills. She married Harvie L. Welch Sr. on January 16, 1948 in Waco, Tx. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1987.  She then married Warren Boegli on Sept. 24, 1990 and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2012. Mary was a seamstress at Walls and Fab Knit and worked at Texas BBQ Company.  Mary loved life, collected dolls and angels, loved going garage selling and loved her many Chihuahua's. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved all her grand babies and cherished her time with each and every one of them.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sisters Eva Loraine Patterson and Vera Faye Hux, and son-in-law Chesley Phillips.

Mary is survived by her children; Glenda Sue (Ray) Tennihill, Maggie Ali, Janie Phillips and Harvie (Jana) Welch Jr. Grandchildren; Sherrie (Ray) Morgan, Lisa Horton, Paul (Krista) Drapeau, Terry (Jeanne) Drapeau, Shannon Drapeau, Sandy (Ricky) White, Mary (Raymond) Long, Addie (Shawn) Collins, Allyssa (Joshua) Brenner, Amorie Welch and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Her siblings J D Kirkpatrick, Florence  (Curtis) Bradbury, Lawrence (Nancy) Kirkpatrick and Nelda Kirkpatrick and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone at Wesley Woods on the Oak Wing and Providence Hospice for their dedication and loving care of our mother.
