Mark Russell Johnson was born on November 8, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, to Eddie Johnson and Karen Johnson. He graduated from Valley Mills High School in 1997 and spent much of his life in Central Texas.

Mark had a passion for cooking and loved watching cooking shows and football. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor and was always the comedian in the room. Time spent with his daughter, Abigail, was his greatest joy. Cooking for her was one of his favorite ways to show love, and she was truly the light of his life.

Professionally, Mark worked for Puremco Dominoes as a graphic design artist and later ran his own business, Digital Exploits, specializing in web hosting and design.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Abigail Johnson of Colorado; his parents, Karen Johnson of Valley Mills and Eddie Johnson of Weatherford; his brothers, Kevin Johnson (and wife Kellie) of Round Rock, Neil Johnson of McGregor, and Scott Johnson of Waco; nephews and nieces Jacob, Samuel, Madison, and Liam; his grandmother Angie Sitton, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mark spent his final months facing significant health challenges, and while those days were difficult, his family takes comfort in knowing his suffering has ended. He will be remembered for his carefree spirit and laughter.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held

We're going to hold a "Celebration of Life" party in the private dining room in the building behind Poppa Rollo's on Valley Mills Drive on October 25th from 2-5 PM. It's come and go. There will be pizza and non-alcoholic beverages.

There will also be a cash bar.

Friends and family will be invited to gather in a joyful remembrance.
