Manuel Zaragoza's journey began on September 10, 1949 in Raymondville, Texas, to Modesto and Luz Zaragoza from Guanajuato, Mexico.  Manuel grew up and attended school in Raymondville, TX for a short time.  His love of fishing, playing guitar/music with his siblings and fast cars was how he spent his good times as a teenager. It was in Madison, Wisconsin where he met Linda who became the love of his life.  The two married on February 26, 1968 and started their life together in West Texas as a cotton ginner.

Manuel was an exceptional husband, provider, but an even more amazing father.  Together Manuel and Linda provided a loving home for their children Betty, Mary Lou, Tony Zaragoza, Lena and Michael.  Manuel was also an amazing  grandfather to 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and an exceptional brother, son, mentor, and uncle to nieces and nephews. He opened his home and his heart to many over the years and he will always be remembered as the tower of strength he was.  He was preceded in death parents, his sister Amada Coss, 2 brothers Juan De Dios Zaragoza and Santiago Zaragoza

Survived by his loving wife Linda Zaragoza of 55 years, his children Betty and husband Manuel Perez, Mary Lou and husband Michael Baker, Tony and his wife Sandra Elizondo-Zaragoza.  Siblings San Juana Rodriguez, Francisco Zaragoza, Maria Ornelas, Consuelo Garza and Jose Guadalupe Zaragoza;  7 great grandchildren, 12 grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

The gates of memories will never close and will miss you more than you will ever know.  We love you always and forever.
