Madolyn Johnson, age 59, of Valley Mills passed away Monday, January 2, 2017, at her residence surrounded by family and friends.  Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.   Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Madolyn was born in Beaumont, TX July 25, 1957 to Allen Sr. and Jenny Lee (Nichols) LaDay. She later moved to Waco, TX where she graduated from Waco High School and then attended McLennan Community College.   Madolyn taught school in Meridian and Bosqueville. Madolyn married Jeff Johnson Jr. 38 years ago in Valley Mills, Texas   Madolyn also took great pride in being the Municipal City Judge in Valley Mills for 12 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Madolyn leaves to cherish her memory; her loving husband Jeff Jr., foster mom Earlene Crane of Waco, TX. 5 children: Rochelle Swinnie of Georgia, Rozina (Derrick) Daniels of Ft. Worth, TX, Ruth-Ann Daniels of Waco, TX, Jeff III (Carrie) Johnson of Valley Mills, TX., Dontae Johnson and J P Tyler of Waco, TX.; 7 boys she lovingly called her own; Jose Picon, Gary Sumpter, David McAdams, Adrian and Robert Linares, Ervin Johnson and Jarod Tice; 8 grand children and 6 great grand children; loving aunt Mozell LaDay of Beaumont, TX.; 2 sisters Erica Castleberry and Derrion  of Lancaster, Tx., Angela Stanton and Thomas of North Carolina and a brother Allen LaDay and Alecia   of Houston, TX.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loving brothers and sisters- in-law.
