Obituary

Madison Pierce July 17, 2000~May 28, 2012 Madison Rose Pierce, 11, went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, May 28, 2012. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, June 2 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Valley Mills under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Interment will be at Terrell Cemetery. Lunch will be served at First Baptist Church following the interment and a visitation will be held at that time in the Family Life Center. Madison was born on July 17, 2000 to Jerry Vaughan Pierce and Amber M. Martinez. Madison was a fifth grade student at Valley Mills ISD. She loved to be around her friends, riding her bicycle, jumping on the trampoline, going to the park and making bead bracelets for special friends. She loved art and drawing and using creativity to express her love for others. Nothing less would be expected of Madison's inclusive spirit. A passage of scripture was found in Madison's room that said, "Then you will have success if you are careful and observe other decrees and laws that the Lord gave Moses, for I, Sarah, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged." She was preceded in death by her grandparents Johnny R. Terrell, Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Burt, Tommy Rush, Bill Bellis, Bill and Ella Pierce and Billy and Ruby Herring. She is survived by her parents Jerry of Valley Mills and Amber Martinez and husband Andrew of Salado, her brothers Quinnton Pierce of Valley Mills and Ethan Bellis of Hewitt; her paternal grandparents Kenny Vaughan Pierce of Valley Mills and Linda Abel of Bellmead, Katherine (Kathy) Fay Burt and husband Greg of Valley Mills; maternal grandparents Kenneth and Susan Wolff of Hewitt and great grandmothers Etoy Terrell of Valley Mills and Joann Rush of Bellmead; special friend Joshua Criss and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be Albert Diaz, Javier Cepeda, Brandon Mathews, Desserri Prosser, Ray Switzer, Calvin "Manny" Landrum, Daniel Garcia and Brian Pope. Honorary Pallbearers: Logan Stieber, Coy Benfer, Gage Stieber, Taylor Benfer, Lane Willis, Jordan Willis, Cameron Owen, and Mrs. Sexton 5th grade class.
