Lucille Shaw

Lucille C. Shaw, age 73, of McGregor, Texas , passed away on May 22, 2022, in a McGregor Nursing Home. Visitation will be 6 - 7 P.M. on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Valley Mills.

Lucille was born on April 3, 1949 in St. Claude, Minnesota to Sylvester and Minora (Wolters) Post. She married the love of her life, Marvin (Butch) Shaw at St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Claude, MN. on August 12, 1967. When they were ready to leave Minnesota, they took a map and blindly stuck a tack to see where they would go. McGregor, TX. bound. She had worked for Smead Manufacturing in McGregor for 33 years and had to retire due to health problems. She loved crafting, wrestling and bull riding. She also loved her computer family where she played games and swapped helpful tips and recipes. She loved her fur babies and I'm sure she met several of them in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Post.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years Marvin (Butch) Shaw, daughter Melissa and her husband David Davis of Moody, TX. Two sisters; Kathleen and husband Rick Berg of Cold Springs, MN. Nora and Meide of MN.  Five brothers; Donald Post and wife Patricia of Forest Lake, MN. Gregory Post and wife Sharon of Colorado Springs, CO., Alan Post and wife Deana of Port Charlotte, FL., Keith Post and wife Bette Rae of Northwest Roseau, MN., and Leslie Post from Las Vegas, NV. Lucy has lots of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, several great great nieces and nephews.
