Born June 19, 1933 she was the beloved daughter of Oma and Ada Pennington and cherished sister to Jean, Nancy and Sue. Her family, always at the center of her life, was the source of her boundless love and support.  Beth married her soul mate, Joe Lee Sears on June 4, 1950 and together they raised three wonderful boys, Jim, Jody and Jerry. Her fun-loving spirit brought happiness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had an infectious laugh that could brighten even the darkest of days.

As a mother, she was nurturing and compassionate, imparting wisdom and love to her sons. She took immense pride in watching them grow into the men they became, passing on her values of kindness, faith, and family. She really enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys football surrounded by her boys. Beth and Joe also loved traveling and camping with friends and family. They made numerous trips before and after retirement, all the while making wonderful memories.  Beth's role as a grandmother and great-grandmother brought her immeasurable joy. Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew no bounds, and the time spent with them was a source of endless happiness.

She touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and the enduring importance of family and community.
