Linda Marie Larsen May 21, 1948 ~ May 25, 2015 Linda Marie Larsen, age 67, passed away suddenly on May 25, 2015. Graveside services will be 2 P. M. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas, with Rev. Jan Woodward officiating under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Linda will lie in state until 11 A.M. Thursday, May 28th at Foss Funeral Home. Linda was born on May 21, 1948, to Rev. Leroy and Peggy Gaston in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was a graduate from Memphis High School in 1967. She attended West Texas University in Canyon, Texas. She was the church secretary for five years at China Spring United Methodist Church and then went to work for Texas Farm Bureau for 15 years. Linda was married to Lorentz McKay Larsen on August 30, 1969, in Ft. Worth. They made their home in Valley Mills. She was very active in the Methodist Church and attended (U.M.W.) United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, her father and her brother. Linda is survived by her sons: Wayne Larsen and wife Alicia of China Spring, Jared Larsen of Valley Mills; grandchildren: Andrew, Erik, and Taylor; mother: Peggy; sister: Sharon both of Wellington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to China Spring United Methodist Church, 262 Illinois, China Spring, Texas 76633 or to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
