Linda Joyce Gomez, age 63, of Clifton, Texas, passed away October 3, 2011, in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be 2 - 4 P.M. Thursday at Foss Funeral Home. Linda was born on October 12, 1947, in Parris, Texas. She was the daughter of Bill and Betty (Locke) Jones. She married James Allen Townzen Sr. in 1964 and had 2 daughters and a son. She later married Fred Gomez on August 12, 1978. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Jones, when she was 3 years old and later by her mother Betty Jo Hudson, step-father, William Bryan Hudson, and her husband, Fred Gomez. She had formerly worked as a C.N.A. and medication aide in Hamilton. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Donna Townzen Allen and fiancée John Faillace, Joanne Whitlock and husband James, a son: James Allen Townzen Jr. and wife Debbie; 14 grandchildren: Kristi Cabler and husband Lucas, Jonathan Gomez and wife Nicole, Michelle Allen, Amber Brumbalow and husband Joseph, Joshua allen, Bryan Townzen, Brandon Gomez, and fiancée Breanna Hedegard, Shane Townzen, Kayla Lydon, Codi Lydon, Colton Townzen, Cheyenne Townzen; 11 great grandchildren: Tyler, Kaley, Nickolas, Logan, Karly, Raymond, Amen, Kambree, Isiah, Aden, Paiton; several nieces and nephews: Jessica, Angelic, Eric, Joshua, Paul, Joe and Rosa.
