Lanita Joyce Teichelman, age 82, of Valley Mills passed away December 21, 2011, in Columbia, Missouri. Graveside service will be 11 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 29th at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Cemetery with Rev. Pat Cummings officiating under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 - 6 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Teichelman was born July 8, 1929, in Williamson County, Texas. She was the daughter of Herbert and Lydia (Fauther) Zellmer. She married Raymond Teichelman in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ray Teichelman and her brother, Curtis Zellmer. She was a member of Patton Baptist Church. Lanita spent most of her life in Texas being a full time stay at home mother and grandmother. Survivors include her children: Dianne Pierce and husband Michael of Austin, Michael Teichelman and wife Barbara of Wyoming, William (Bill) Teichelman and wife Robin of Valley Mills, Lisa Galeski and husband Scott of Missouri; a daughter-in-law: Diana Teichelman; a sister, Shirley Clark of North Carolina, a brother, Douglas Zellmer of California, 8 grandchildren: Jacob, Melissa, Micah, Jennifer, Austin, Natalie, Addison, and Sarah; 6 great grandchildren: Riley, McKenzie, Jackson, Paris, Christian Ray and Milla. She will be remembered for her warm heart and wonderful sense of humor by all of her children, grandchildren andfriends.
