Obituary

Karole Kaye Dickson
July 5, 1959 - December 10, 2021

Karole Kaye Dickson, age 62, of Valley Mills went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 10, 2021 with her children and fiancé by her side at Providence Hospital.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec.14, at Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Valley Mills. A family Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Fairview Baptist Church, 806 CR3530, Clifton, Tx. with Pastor Jim Dickson officiating.

Karole was born on July 5, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona, to James (Jim) Dickson and Nola Honeycutt. She had a wide range of accomplishments and interests ranging from traveling the country in sales, owning and operating a Flower Shop in Valley Mills, becoming a Licensed Massage therapist, and a Licensed Nurse. Her most prized accomplishment, however, was that of being a mother to her children and grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as "Momma Kaye".

Karole loved God with all of her heart. Because of that she tried as best she could to live out the gospel of Jesus, especially to her family. She poured out her heart loving her children and grandchildren. Where there was a need, she tried to meet it. If someone needed love or understanding or just a cup of coffee, she gave it. If it was your birthday, you didn't just get a gift, she gave you a party. To Karole, everything in life was worth celebrating. If there is one thing her family knows for sure about her, it is that she loved them.

Karole was a loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched. She had a zest for life, was full of energy and focused all her efforts on helping and caring for others. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her friends and family, most especially
over the holidays. Always cooking more than needed just to be sure everyone left full and with plenty to take home. If she wasn't making a to-do list she was giving out gifts; it was impossibleto leave her house empty handed. Everyone received the long goodbye as she would stand on her porch and wave until you were out of sight.

Karole is survived by her parents, James Dickson and Nola Honeycutt; fiance, Johnny Ray Humphries Jr; children, Weldon Ray Daily Jr, Tiffany Kay Daily, John Colby Humphries, and Savannah Jeane Humphries Dickson; grandchildren, Brittany Lee Daily, Weldon Ray Daily III, Ilamae Love Daily, Jadeyn Alexis Daily, Caden Elijah Beverly, Reese Hope Atwell, Penelope Olivia Daily and Mabel Marie Daily; Siblings, Jimmy Dickson, Jerlene Cannon, Miriam Rogers and Rae Dickson.
