Judy Seay

Judy Gale Seay, age 83, of Crawford, Texas, formerly of Harlingen, Texas, has gone to meet with the Lord, on September 22, 2022. Graveside services will be 10 A.M. Monday, Sept.26, 2022, at the Valley Mills Cemetery with Pastor Joe Goodman officiating. Judy and Harry were attending church at Westwood Baptist Church in Woodway with Pastor Joe Goodman.

Visitation will be 2 – 4 P.M. Sunday at the Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

She is survived by her childhood sweetheart, Harry Seay. They were married in June, 1955 at Primera Baptist church in Primera, Texas. They were married for 66 sweet years. She has one daughter, Judith Ann Morriss (Seay), two sons, Ricky Seay, Jerry Seay and his wife Tina; two sisters: Gwen Sain and Iona Keen; 2 brothers Harlin Berna and Bobby Berna; 5 grandchildren, that she loved very much, Shiloh Gauer, Kristi Matlock, Shannon Seay, Lora Gale Seay and Melanie Schulz. And many great grandchildren that filled her heart with love.

She attended Pan American University at Brownsville and after graduating went to work for years with the Harlingen school district. She loved her co-workers and students.  In 1999 Harry and Judy moved to Waco, Texas, were she started working with the Waco Independent School District. She taught there for many years and was also librarian for years. She loved what she did, plus her students and school staff.  She retired in 2010.

She touched many lives with her teaching, generosity and passion for life.
