Jose Daniel Castanon, 34, of Valley Mills, TX, passed away suddenly on November 4, 2023 at his home.  Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, November 10, 2023, at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Clifton, Tx.  Interment will be at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  There will be a family gathering after the cemetery at the Old City Hall,107 South 4th St, Valley Mills, Tx, 76689

Visitation will be 5-7 PM on Friday, November 10th, 2023 at Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Valley Mills, Tx.

Jose was born May 13, 1989 in El Granjeno, Huimilpan. He attended and graduated from Valley Mills High School. Jose was a sweet loving person and had one of the most caring hearts. He loved his family, friends, and especially his nephews. He loved them as his own. Jose had a smile that would light up the room. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Jose was preceded in death by both his grandparents; Guillermo Servin Álvarez and Raul Castanon Arias.

He is survived by his parents, Rosa and Daniel Castanon, both of El Granjeno, Huimilpan; his brother, Guillermo Castanon; his sister, Vanessa Castanon; his brother-in-law, Erick Macías; and his two nephews, Santiago Daniel Castanon and Erick Macías Jr.

Pallbearers; Alfonso Servin, Christian Servin, Valdo Castanon, Guillermo Castanon, Erick Macías, and Jacob Macías.
