JoAnne McManmie, age 73, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at her residence. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

JoAnne was born April 5, 1946, in California to Verlon and Wanda Wiley Boyer. She later moved to Texas. He had previously worked at Texas BBQ in Valley Mills, Valley Mills Dairy Queen, Alco, and Valley Mills I.S.D.

Survivors include her sister: Lindsey Lowe of California; 2 children: Monica Hillin and her husband Jody of Whitney, and Brian McManmie.of Valley Mills; 2 grandchildren:  Justin McManmie, Ryan Atkinson, and 1 great grandchild:  Victoria all from California.
