Jerry Allen Stroble August 12, 1951 ~ July 1, 2013 Jerry Allen Stroble, age 61, of Valley Mills passed away at his residence on July 1, 2013. Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, July 3rd at Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Valley Mills. There will be no other services. Jerry was born in Texarkana on August 12, 1951. In high school, Jerry was the center for the football team and they never lost a game. He liked to cook and he was very good at it. Jerry never met a stranger; he was always smiling and was the clown of the party. He was a very good salesman and he could sell anything. Jerry most recently worked at Buzzard Billy's and had owned several businesses during his lifetime. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved to play bingo and go to the boats in Louisiana where his ashes will be spread in the Red River at his request. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edwin Stroble Sr. and Muriel Muse Stroble. He is survived by his brothers: Charles Edwin Stroble Jr. and wife Annie of Roswell, NM, Scott M. Stroble and wife Diane of Valley Mills; sisters: Gail Stroble Turner of Longview, Carolyn Stroble Gross of Paragould, AR, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
