Jason Taylor Marr Nov. 23, 1959 ~ Sept. 10, 2015 Jason Marr, age 55, of Laguna Park, passed away on Sept. 10, 2015. Memorial service will be held 1 P.M. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 600 Avenue C, Valley Mills, Texas 76689 (254-932-5249). Jason was born on Nov. 23, 1959, in Aspermont, Texas, to Tom and Ivanelle Lee (Yarborough) Marr. He spent his youth on his grandparents farm in Aspermont, Tx. Eventually graduating Cooper High School in Abilene and continuing his education in San Marcos, Texas. In college he was the life of the party. He began a career in the boating industry in Abilene, Texas with Alan Thompson's Boat Shop. From there he moved to Waco at Marineland where he met his wife Tracy of 26 years. They were married April 15, 1989 and he continued his love for her until his passing. Together they raised two beautiful girls: Taylor LeeAnn Marr age 22, and Jamie Thomas Marr age 20. Jason had many passions, he loved to golf, he love anything fast on land or water, and was always ready for a good time. He was a friend to all and would give his shirt off his back to a perfect stranger. He will be remembered as the best mechanic on Lake Whitney and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by his father Tom Taylor Marr and mother Ivanelle Massey and her husband Billy Massey (Papa). Survivors included his wife Tracy Petttit Marr, daughters: Taylor LeeAnn Marr, Jamie Thomas Marr; his dog Willy all of Laguna Park; his in-laws: Tom and Kathy Pettit; sister-in-law: Gina and Cody Ladyman, Ginas children: Sean Valdez, Christopher Hargorve, Kevin Hargrove, Katie Hargrove all of Valley Mills, aunts Joyce Pierce and husband Al, Lynda Fisher and husband Ardis; step-sister, Suzanne and Joel Matzsky and step-brother, Tom and Nancy Massey and son, Austin all of Abilene, his best friend, Dean Stovall.
