James Dwight Englutt, age 26 Veteran commits suicide after being discharged from the Army 3 weeks earlier.   Graveside service will be 10 A.M. Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, for James Englutt, of Hewitt, Texas, at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center with full military honors.  For full obituary go to www.fossfuneralhome.com

James was born on Feb. 7, 1992, in Port Smith, Virginia to Edward D. Englutt Jr. and Mary Pearl McMillian.  He had attended school in Valley Mills, Texas and was a 2010 graduate of Killeen High School. .  He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2010 and served until this year 2018.  While he was in the Army for 8 years, he served as a helicopter mechanic with Blackhawk Kaios and special training.  He had just moved to Hewitt, Texas.

Survivors include his father Edward Englutt Jr.; his mother Mary Pearl McMillan of Oregon,  a son Caden Burchill of Kansas; a brother William Englutt of Hewitt; and a sister Courtney Englutt of Temple, Texas.
