Jack Taylor Sr. May 27, 1935 ~ Dec. 31, 2013 Jack Taylor Sr., age 78, of Oglesby, Texas, formerly of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away peacefully from this life on Dec. 31, 2013, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, Jan. 4th at the First Baptist Church in Valley Mills, Tx. Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Friday at Foss Funeral Home Chapel & Cremation Center. Jack was born May 27, 1935, in Temple, Oklahoma. He was the son of John and Clara (Penland) Taylor. He married Virginia (Ginger) Taylor on Feb. 16, 1973, in Pine Bluff, Ark. He retired from Strong Manufacturing in 1989 and retired again in 2004 from Davis Trucking in Clifton. He was a member of Eagle Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Joan Bass, brother Dale Taylor, an infant daughter Crystal Taylor, grandson Eric Fry and the mother to 4 of his children, Betty Lou Taylor. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Ginger Taylor, daughters: Denise Fry and husband Dennis of Magazine, Ark., Lee Ann Baize and husband Mike of Crawford; sons: Jack Taylor Jr. and wife Rita of Tupelo Miss.; Johnny Taylor and wife Tina of Oglesby, Dwayne White and wife Daniell of West Olive Michigan, Jeff White and wife Elaine of Valley Mills; sister: Darlene Lancaster and husband Phillip; a brother: Derle Taylor of West Memphis, Ark.; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
