H. A. Graves
August 11, 1940-May 15, 2021

Henry A. Graves, age 80 of Valley Mills, TX passed away with his family by his side May 15, 2021.  A private family graveside service will be held at a later date by the family.  Mr. Graves will lie in state on Tuesday at Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center for anyone wishing to sign the register.

H. A. was born on August 11, 1940, to Harold and T.B. (Ballard) Graves in Pancake, Texas.  He was a 1959 graduate of Valley Mills High School.  He  married Dolores Wagner on July 27, 1962.  H. A. retired from TSTC.  His family was his life's pride.  To him his job was to spoil his grandchildren.  They had him wrapped around their little fingers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  His other sport was going to Louisiana to play slots.  The winner always had to pay for dinner.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Billie Jean Graves and brother Darel Graves

Survivors include his wife Dolores; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Denise; grandchildren:  Hailey, Alissa & Brian Johnson, Derek, Rosie, Gavin & Lily.  Other family Haroldean Marrs, Ada Hamel, Jim Graves, Doris Graves, several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to either Valley Mills Fire Department or Valley Mills Cemetery.
