Harold Hyde Nov. 12, 1935- April 4, 2014 Harold Hyde, age 78, of Valley Mills passed away at his home in Valley Mills on Friday, April 4, 2014. Funeral service will be 3 P.M. Sunday, April 6th at Patton Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Cummings officiating. Interment will be at Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Visitation will be prior to funeral service on Sunday 2 - 3 P.M. at Patton Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Patton Baptist Church, PO Box 538, Valley Mills, Tx. 76689. Harold was born on Nov. 12, 1935, in Rural McLennan County to James Otto and Ida Mae (Ludwick) Hyde. He was a graduate of University High and had served in the United States Army for four years where he was a missile launcher. He previously work at Wolf Manufactory, R . M. Crow Manufacturing Company, and Romark where he eventually retired. He was a member of Patton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Burnell Jurecka and Maurin Key; brothers J. L. Hyde, Dewey Hyde, and Roy Hyde, and a grandson Tyler Trigg. Survivors include his wife Loretta Hyde, a son: Jay Hyde of Hewitt, daughters: Lisa Hyde of Mexia, Tisha Trigg and husband Allen of Valley Mills; a brother: Bill Hyde and wife Vee of Frankston; sisters-in-law: Ruth Hyde of Valley Mills, Alice Hyde of Waco; grandchildren: Karen Johnson, Austin and Ashton Hyde, Tanner and Taylor Trigg, and a very special granddaughter Shelby Hyde; great grandchild Trey Loper; several nieces and nephews. Family would like to thank Providence Hospice and our special angels Wilda and Ida. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Wood, Paul Marti, Curtis Hyde, Austin Hyde, Ashton Hyde, Trey Loper, Tanner Trigg, Taylor Trigg, David Wood.
