Goldie Lee Seay passed away on October 14, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Valley Mills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Interim Hospice of Waco, Texas.

Goldie was born in Harlingen, Texas, on December 11, 1937, to Annie and Leslie Lewis.

She married Harold Hugh Seay in July, 1956, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Goldie and "the girls" moved to Valley Mills, Texas, in 1969. She worked as a nurse's aide in nursing homes and at Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton, Texas, until 1975. Goldie attended the Goodall-Witcher School of Nursing and continued working in the field until 2013, when she retired.

Goldie enjoyed gardening and could often be found tending to her flowers whenever possible. She was baptized as a teenager at Primera Baptist Church and was a member of First Baptist Church in Valley Mills.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Leslie Lewis; her sister, Delores Cowan; brother-in-law, J.R. Cowan; and son-in-law, Jimmy McAdams.

Goldie is survived by her daughters Lora Sears and husband Terry of Meridian, Texas, and Karen McAdams of Belton, Texas; grandson Jacob Sears and wife Mandy; great-granddaughters Ainsley and Kennedy of Decatur, Texas; Ronnie McAdams and wife Carla; great-grandsons Luca and Benton of Belton; granddaughter Melissa Green and husband Chad; great-grandsons Will and Graham of Belton; Cody Sears and wife Ashley; great-grandson Rhett; great-granddaughters Macie and Hallie of Cleburne, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She loved her family and was so proud of them.
