Glenn Cody

Glenn E. Cody, age 71, of Speegleville, Texas, formerly of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away at his residence with his wife Frances beside him on July 1, 2018. Funeral service will be 1 P.M. Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church with full military honors. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Glenn was born May 28, 1947, in Leander, Texas, to Luke Albert Cody and Nana Bell (Johns) Cody. Glenn was formerly a member of the Valley Mills First Baptist Church.   Cody married Frances (McCutcheon) Pruitt on October 25, 1985.   Glenn was a Vietnam Army Veteran serving from 1968 to 1975.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Frances Cody; sons, William F. Cody and Billy Joe Cody; daughter, Victoria Diane Nelson; stepsons, J.D. Pruitt Jr. of Groesbeck, TX, Wayne Pruitt of Troy, TX, and Ray Pruitt and wife Emily of Hewitt, TX; stepdaughter, Melissa Harbaugh and husband Greg of Speegleville, TX; 2 brothers, Amiel Cody and wife Barbara of Burdett, Kansas, and Paul Cody and wife Diane of Houston, TX; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; lots of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers will be J.D. Pruitt Jr., Wayne Pruitt, Ray Pruitt, and Greg Harbaugh.
