Geneva Rene Hines Gardner

Geneva Hines Gardner, age 79, of Poolsville, Texas, passed away in Valley Mills, Tx. on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Friday Oct. 22, 2021, at the Itasca Cemetery with Dr. John Wheatly officiating under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Mrs. Gardner was born June 10,1942 to Arthur and Willie Mae Hines in Italy, Texas. She married John Terrell Gardner October 12,1959, in Hillsboro, one month later after meeting for the first time at the picture show in her home town Itasca.  They had 4 children. She was a hardworking homemaker and business owner. She loved family gatherings and enjoyed watching them having fun. She was very outgoing and loved to talk and catch up with family. She was loved and adored. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Ruby, Ludie Mae, Lenora, Connie, and a son-n-law Ronnie Corder.

She is survived by her husband John Terrell Gardner; a son John Terry Gardner and his children Janetta, JT, Terri Dawn, Leslie; a daughter Kathy Gardner Corder her children Jenny, Cody, a daughter Kim Gardner Beasley husband Craig their children Laurian, Thomas , Dustin; a daughter Karen Gardner Turkett and husband Ty, their children Dylan and Emily; numerous great grandchildren; a brother AW Hines, a niece Brenda Shockley and a sister Lavalle Hines.
