Gene Paul Langston, age 33, of Valley Mills passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at his residence. Service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, March 26th, at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Dixon officiating. Internment will follow at Fairview Cemetery under direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Friday, March 25th, at Foss Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Fairview Cemetery, c/o Jerry White, First National Bank, Valley Mills, Texas 76689.
Gene was born on June 4, 1982, and lived his life in Bosque County on the Dorman Ranch. He graduated from Valley Mills High School in 2000, and from TSTC in 2011, with a degree in plumbing. He was employed with Rabroker in Waco. He was a loving father, son and brother. Everyone said of Gene "he was a gentle soul". He was preceded in death by his father David Langston.
He is survived by his mother: June Brown and stepfather Billy; daughter: Aubrey Langston and her mother Sydnee; brother: Jack Langston; grandparents: Dugan and Dolores Dorman; Uncle Jim Dorman and wife Verna; Aunt Jill Dorman; numerous cousins. and all of Valley Mills. The family encourages memories of Gene to be left at the online guest book.
